Platform

Learn more about the platform

The Technological Platform of the Institut de Recherche Saint-Louis (IRSL) offers its research support and assistance services in flow cytometry, photonic microscopy and molecular biology.

Located in the Centre Georges Hayem (Université Paris Cité) on the Saint-Louis Hospital site in Paris, the IRSL Technological Platform makes state-of-the-art technological equipment available for biomedical research, operated by a team of engineers who bring their know-how and expertise to the service of teams from Université Paris Cité, INSERM, CNRS, the Collège de France, as well as research actors external to the institute (AP-HP, EPSTs, industry, or start-ups).

The IRSL Technological Platform fulfils a four-part mission:

  • Theoretical and practical training in the various technologies.
  • Access to state-of-the-art instruments.
  • Personalized support for experiment design and data analysis.
  • Establishment of collaborations (scientific projects and development of experimental protocols).
