Governance

The Saint-Louis Research Institute (IRSL) brings together 21 research teams and two technological and pre-clinical research platforms, organised around four strategic scientific areas covering key fields: haematology, immunology, dermatology, oncology, infectious diseases, and epidemiological, biostatistical and cohort studies.

Under the leadership of Professor Jean Soulier, the IRSL operates under the supervision of INSERM and Université Paris Cité and forms the Joint Research Unit UMR1342. Four research teams are also accredited by the CNRS (EMR8000) and one team by the CEA.

The IRSL’s operations are supported by the Management Team, the Team Leaders’ Council, a Laboratory Council, and a Scientific Advisory Board (SAB).

The administrative and logistics departments and the Health and Safety Committee are involved in implementing the site-wide policy in accordance with the regulations and standards in force.
